He is a retired landscaper and nursery stock farmer from Westminster, Carroll County, MD. He writes for the Carroll County Times, a publication of the Baltimore Sun Media. An avid artist and writer, he continues his interest in promoting conservative values, music and books, government and politics, technology, the environment, business and Ag issues.
